Coronavirus

COVID -19

Relief Task

Food Distributions Program

Due to pandemic COVID-19 "Coronavirus", the world is infected and over 30,000 people have died around the globe. It has spread from Wuhan city in China to all over the world. To stop spreading Coronavirus in Nepal, the Nepal government has made the country lockdown from 23rd March 2020 until a further announcement is made. The entire country, including transportation, schools, stores, companies, and all of Nepal's borders are closed.

Because of this lockdown, Pastor Ruben saw laborers' daily wages were badly affected, causing them and their families to have no food to eat. He saw hungry children; elderly and frail people and widows were starving. Pastor Ruben prayed and began raising donations to help destitute people with foodstuffs. As a result many generous partners have opened their hands.

The goal is to raise the US $2,000 to feed as many families as possible and $910 has been raised. As donations come in, Pastor Ruben and his team are going to villages and are distributing foodstuffs to poor families. He believes that 'a friend in need is a friend indeed'.
