Disable Home

Date: 22nd Nov, 2022

Dear friends,

I had received a request from the Nepal Government’s Nawalparasi district chief, Mr. Baburam Bishwakarma, to visit disability homes in Kawasoti, Nawalparasi, so on November 21st, yesterday, I had my first visit to this home. This home now cares for 16 disabled and handicapped orphan children, ages 11 to 19. I saw all of these kids go to school, and they are receiving the very best care.

Mr. Krishna Roka, the home’s founder, goes from one shop to another in Kawasoti city, begging rice and feeding children. He used to go to parties, events, and marriage ceremonies to collect left-over meals and bring them home to feed children, but he was unable to collect enough after COVID, which has become one of the greatest challenges for him to feed kids now.

The home’s monthly operating costs are $1,100, which include rent, the children’s weekly medication bills, food, clothing, school, and transportation. Mr. Baburam, the Nepal Government’s chief of district, has given MFTN a request to support this home on a monthly basis for 2 years, so I felt in my heart to support this home with US$ 500 a month for 2 years, until they get regular sponsors.

I can’t do it without your prayers and support. I believe that you will support my endeavor to help these children have hope and life. Now, I’m praying for ten kind and generous friends to join me in supporting this home as a monthly partner with a contribution of $50 or more. If you would like to contribute $5, $10, or $20 per month, please join us by becoming a monthly partner.

Thank you for your kindness. Happy ThanksGiving.
