We are a Christian mission organization based in Nepal, doing evangelism, church planting, and social work among the most unreached tribal communities since 2008. In 2017, we registered our ministry in the state of Texas, USA, as a non-profit under section 501(c)(3).
Every year, about 30,000 teenage girls are taken and traded by human traffickers to be sold as sex slaves. These girls are abused both physically and mentally by multiple customers every day, and their lives end up either with various sexual diseases or more. MfTN fights against the network of traffickers in several ways. We have staff who do surveillance at bus parks and hotels at the borders of Nepal. We also run public awareness programs in villages, from where girls are most often taken from.
Our focus is on reaching the least caste, the destitute and tribal communities with the good news of Jesus Christ. As they believe in Christ, they want to buy a Bible, but they cannot afford it by themselves because of poverty. In this case, we provide Bibles to them freely, and when we are aware they are struggling for food, we give them food in the another hand.
Every day over 5,000 children become unwell in Nepal by drinking impure and arsenic water. They are mostly tribal children who do not have any other choice than to drink water from ponds or flooded rivers.
By installing a hand pump in their tribal villages, we are helping their entire community.
Every time we install a water well, we inaugurate it by holding an Evangelism meeting in the village, and the people receive the gospel with open hearts. Each water well demonstrates a Church plant in a village.
